The easiest way to get these is from Juniper barks in Traveller's Vale. Head out of Yak's to where the Judge (Boss) is on a bridge, there are usually a few there, then head west and north to Iron horse mines, should be about another 8-10. Exit zone and return back the way you came, I did mine in one trip out and back. It's all level 7-10 mobs so should be not to difficult for any profession and casual player to farm. Just bring some damage and a modest heal.

^ easiest and also most frustrating
some runs you get 5 dropped...some runs only 1 will spawn and it never drops a seed.

But still, its the easiest solo

(which is why I uploaded a video tutorial in that area about 2 hours before your post)

You've obviously gone far enough to farm these in 'higher areas'; but just in case anyone's getting a non-Tyrian character to Beacon's to do the Hungry Devourer quest, it's for Tyrian characters only.

There are about 10 Pinesouls to be had.

Let the group of Mursaat pass & they will park themselves out of the way, leaving a cuple groups of 3 Imps that may interject their impishness during the hunt.

Went solo, rit 2nd, SoS and added Purge Signet to remove Mind Freeze and conditions from traps when picking up the seeds... prolly can survive without, but handy if ur a monk.

This was what I used, didn't take too long, just used a scythe A/D with Shroud of Distress and the Pinesouls are trivial. Running into the Ice Imps of course is deadly and an immediate death, but they can be easily avoided with a little patience.

The spawns are a bit random so sometimes you'll be able to get at more pinesouls, sometimes less, but it's a pretty quick way to get the seeds.

tyvm Fay Vert...I followed your directions and had my seeds in about 40 minutes (one trip out and back as well). 3 bosses on my run back (necro, warrior, monk). Used my solo birdie killer R/Rt VwK build for Jaya Bluffs which makes it possible to tank whole areas if foes actually followed for long enough and the ice golems didn't have their snares. As an aside, got 5 dye drops and 3 (low-level) golds during that short time - maybe a good spot for a dye farm?

Mehtani Keys, on the tiny island in the center of the area. 2 Silver Bullion Coins per gift. No pic, sorry; my wife confirmed it at home, and she'll be adding dialogue to GuildWiki shortly.

Solo farmed the corsairs around the area where Nick was and it yielded me exactly the 10 needed.

I did the same but only got 6. I think there has to be a better place to farm since the isle with all the corsairs is far out.

The best place I found is the at the temple-like structure in Issnur Ilses.
It's still pretty far out, but the groups are easier to pull apart so you won't be overwhelmed with 20+ corsairs at once like you are in the keys.

However, if you are from Prophecies or Factions and still have the quest A Land of Heros, you can farm them in the mini-mission that has about 50+ corsairs in it.

Do you use a salvage kit on those? i didn't know you could do that.

Also, Mehtani Keys....that's not on the mainland but on Istan right?

After 2 turns around the Temple in Issnur Ilses Reddog mentioned....
Looted 12 coins & a sack of junk. But junk is always good IMO. some runes were profitable. Still havn't made way to Nick yet. I'ma farm this temple some more and see how that goes. Thankx RD.
